BIOSPHERE [Unreleased Esteem Cards]

The Biosphere trading card project began in 1991 with the release of a 34-card promotional set for a planned trading card series. Years later, an estate sale revealed previously unknown material from the project, including unreleased cards and alternate blue and white-backed versions of cards from the original green and tan-backed promotional set.

This entry documents the unreleased Esteem cards discovered through that estate sale. Their intended use has not been confirmed, although they are believed to have been produced for the planned retail release. Most known examples have green and yellow backs, while only a single blue-backed example has been documented to date.
