Between 2005 and 2019 a website dedicated to Mego brand toys issued cards featuring toys and dolls from the 1970s, with the intention being members of their online forum could trade with one another. Each year saw a new subset of cards and they cover a bunch of popular franchises, with card numbers 1, 2 and 3 reportedly the hardest ones to find.

The card numbering continues from subset to subset. Some numbers were reprinted, distinguishable by the copyright year on the backs, and a few error cards popped up from time to time.

Cards 1, 2, and 3 were reprinted soon after their initial release.
